Why you should buy a penthouse or apartment

You can live the high life in Cheshire. A penthouse apartment is often regarded as the epitome of contemporary, luxury living and is a dream that some people clamour for. Celebrities like Phil and Julie Neville chose a penthouse home that has views over Manchester city centre.

You don’t have to be living a celebrity lifestyle to own this kind of home. But what you can expect is fantastic views, more mod cons that you can think of and a high specification property with the best fixtures and fittings.

Penthouses traditionally come with more floor space than other apartments in the same building – in some cases it can be three or four times as much – and they are often located in city centres.

Apartment living doesn’t necessarily mean compact living either. Some apartments and penthouses have two levels, more like the layout of a traditional home, and they can also have plenty of living space. If you’re lucky, you may even find a home that has its own roof terrace giving some fantastic outdoor space.
