Parents John and Lisa Lee held a ‘thank you’ celebration for the people who helped their eldest son, Conor, make a fantastic recovery after being diagnosed with a brain tumour.
The couple decided to start fundraising in recognition of the love and care their son received from many people.
The event, held at Mere Spa Resort, near Knutsford, raised £40,000. It followed a previous event held in 2007 which raised £60,000.
