A scarecrow parade and a dancing Samba band were part of the colourful attractions at this year’s Wilmslow Scarecrow Festival. To coincide with the 100th Wilmslow Show, the scarecrow event was bigger and bolder than ever. Attractions included 12ft walking scarecrows and a charity hoedown and hog roast.
The event – organised by volunteers including members of Wilmslow Dean Rotary and Wilmslow Business Group – raised cash for local charities including Alzheimers sufferers and autistic children.
